Split/Second is an intense action racing game set within a reality television show. Competitors will vie to be the first to the finish line in a made-for-TV city set rigged to blow with the ultimate goal of becoming the season champion. Players in Split/Second don’t just collide with other vehicles to knock them from the track. But can also trigger devastating events that drastically alter the dynamics of the race. The gameplay is focused on a unique mechanic called “Power Plays“, which allows players to trigger explosive events such as collapsing buildings, exploding barrels. And crashing airplanes to disrupt the race and eliminate opponents. As players progress through the game, they unlock more powerful Power Plays and gain access to faster and more exotic cars. Split/Second features a variety of game modes. It including a single-player campaign, split-screen multiplayer, and online multiplayer. In the campaign mode, players must race through a series of events, earning points by finishing in first place or triggering Power Plays. The game also includes a “Survival” mode where players must avoid obstacles and survive as long as possible.
