Now the world feels much more open, with alternate paths and more freedom to choose your adventure. But in general lines, it’s more of the same. If you’re a Marvel fan you should just go for the LEGO Marvel Superheroes game. It features a more varied cast of characters and an original story.LEGO Avengers is a weird title. It features scenes from individual-character movies like both Captain America, Thor: The Dark World and Iron Man 3, among others. It helps a little with the setup for the main storyline of The Avengers, but it makes it more reduced. It’s not a substitute for the movie, but it’s ok for the younger kids.

If you’re buying this for free play, this game is it. There’s over 150 characters, multiple hubs and it took me around 20 hours just to unlock everything in them. The graphics are also stunning for a Lego game and it will not cease to amaze you how good Lego Manhattan looks. Excluding DLC, there’s 15 levels and each one is around 30-40 minutes. Every level was a lot of fun and I was happy to play through them twice to 100% complete the game. If you’re willing to fully complete this game, it took me around 40 hours (including DLC) with 15.5 being my first round through the story mode. This is also including unlocking every Steam achievement.
