The story of PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC begins when PAC-MAN encounters an intruder. He must stop the intruder from stealing the PAC-FAM. The PAC-FAM is a PAC-DELICIOUS toy that keeps Pac-Man safe from ghosts. Pac-Man needs to stop the intruder from getting to the PAC-FAM. To make matters worse, the PAC-FAM also has a secret star hidden inside it. The secret star is what will help Pac-Man to defeat the ghosts. He has to collect all the stars to unlock the powers that will help him to defeat the ghosts. These powers include the ability to change into super ghosts, the ability to fire lasers, and the ability to turn into a ghost catcher.
