Aside from shopping in an Ikea, moving house is one of the most stressful experiences of modern life, but Unpacking not only manages to make it fun, but even relaxing.

This game is just breathtaking, not only does it offer you an escape from irl and the satisfaction of creating a cosy space, but it also features very real and open irl character arcs/storylines. It was enjoyable while it lasted, sadly the game is a tad short. Unpacking and organizing items in this game is therapeutic, even if you can’t really place items anywhere you want; all items belong to certain areas so you have to figure out where exactly they’re supposed to go. Difficulty slowly increases with every chapter. Artwork is lovely and pleasant to the eyes. Overall, it’s been a fun experience, so I recommend it to puzzle lovers. It would be best to pick up on sale, as the game can be completed in under 3 hours.
